Default My new project: WS6

I picked this car up a few weeks ago. She needed a lot of TLC but she's coming right along. It has a stock bottom end 241 headed LS1, for now, with Pacesetter LTs, BTR stage 4 cam with good valve train components, LS6 intake, BMR springs, BMR adjustable LCAs, BMR adjustable pan hard bar, and a Quick Performance 9". I want to see how far I can take the car on a stock bottom end with no power adder, but knowing me it could receive a nitrous kit at anytime lol.

Now for the good stuff.

A few mods I've gotten this week. I also have a set of TSP stainless 1 7/8 headers and a set of 243s that we're gonna do some porting on, and a couple pics from F-Body bash at Myrtle Beach last weekend.

Looks good. Do some heads and a 100-150 shot and you'll be close to limits of the stock internals

Thank you. A few pics from this morning, washed the wife's Cadillac ATS and detailed the WS6:

Got it off the ground and painted the brake calipers just to clean it up a bit, and add a few goodies, nothing too flashy.

Nice looking ride! I also like all the red in the garage! Do you have any dyno or track numbers on it right now?

Thank you. Not yet. It was advertised as making 416 horsepower from the guy I bought it from, and I wasn't very pleased with the tune so I've had a different tune loaded in for now. Once I get the heads and FAST setup on I'll take it to have a spot on tune loaded in, and see what it puts down on the rollers. I've got to save up some more cash and get a clutch before it will be able to see the track.

Entered my first car show Saturday and won my class. I've won a fair amount of drag races, dirt circle track races, and a dirt circle track championship, but I was surprised at how much winning that little plaque got my adrenaline flowing lol

Now the question is, fix this car or take the drive train and put it in a white 02 WS6 roller I have. The 02 car is in perfect shape but I have a soft spot for red. That's the only reason I haven't transferred the drivetrain in the white car already.

Just fix it, that's not too bad. White, red and black are the only colors I would consider for a WS6. The red looks great and shouldn't take too much $$$ to fix.

ANd holy F *****, who's garage is that?!?!?!?
