I was wondering if a 05 gto harness and ecu will fit in a 97 trans am. I got the goat for 3k and the only thing that ended up being too was a h/c/I ls2 in it. It was originally an automatic gto that was t56 swapped. The t56 is trash. Took it to tick and they said it would be cheaper to buy a magnum than to find hard parts for the t56. Well I have a 4l60e in my 97 and called cpt and he said he can ship me a 4l60e and converter for 3600 shipped. I think the harness in the gto is still the auto harness I'm not sure, but if it is can I swap it to the 97 with the pcm or do I have to buy an ls1 f body harness and ecu?

Also wanted to know if I could reuse any parts off of the gto. Maybe k member (doubt) brakes and suspension parts, and fuel pump, etc. Any ideas?
