Default 77 Formula Resto-Mod info/Advice?

Hello!
I am looking at purchasing a very clean 77 Firebird Formula white in colour, all original 98,000 miles never winter driven.
The car is Auto with the 350 engine, all stock except aftermarket T-Roof

My interest in purchasing the car would be to restomod the car LS3 or LS7?
Prefer Auto trans, updated brakes, lowered suspension, gauges, a/c, etc.
This car while be a street car and a driver, no drag or track.
Any advice or who to talk to

Thanks

Find a high mile fbody or wrecked gto/g8 and buy it. That'll give you almost all the important parts to do a swap. When you finish you can part out the donor to get some of the money back. If you're willing to go with an iron block chase down the newest escalade you can find and dump the dod when you swap the intake and oil system. The l92 is a good swap candidate.

If you want to stay carb you need to figure out the ignition system since none of these engines have a distributor. There's a few options for that but it's something people tend to overlook until they're half way through.
