Default Bad DRL/Blinker

My drivers side blinker bulb does not work at al when the car is on. I had to replace the bulb many many times because there was a crack in the housing for that light, and when it rained water got in and destroyed the bulb. That’s fixed now, and the bulb in is good, but the light doesn’t light up when the car is on. However, the light does light up when I lock or unlock my car from my keys. Any idea on what my issue is?

They flash in the dash, yes. I replaced the blinker relay late yesterday and now both blinkers blink, but the front drivers side DRL still doesn’t work.

New sockets and pigtails are fairly cheap and available. DLRs generate a lot of heat and the failure of this part is common. If you decide to replace these sockets be sure to get the crimping electrical connectors with heat shrinking ends. After you make the connection you can use a lighter to shrink the plastic ends to seal it up. This is a high moisture area.

You'll want to follow this thread for a better outcome. (No splices!)

At this point, it looks like you either have a socket issue or the problem would be in the DRL module. (A socket issue is more common and much less expensive.)
