Does anyone know how to properly install the decal. And does anyone know how to take off the original off the filler panel

we took our original one off by wet sanding and then polishing. use 1500 grit to remove and then followed by 2000 grit. then polished using a headlight restoration kit

as for the new overlay - steady hands, good eyes and wing it. spray area with soapy water, put on decal and slide it around until you get it where you want it, then squeegee out the water. let it set and peel off the backing

just the decal area is all we did. it doesn't take much.
