Default Help with Knowledge - ‘98 Formula WS6 1LE?? No RPO

Window Sticker
Hey all,

so I really need someone’s knowledge here. I’m looking at a ‘98 WS6 formula AUTO A4. The car has the RPO sticker missing on the drivers side. The only way I could verify is the original window sticker. It has the Ram Air package on the sticker and suspension 17” wheels..

is this a WS6 and a 1LE car?

I'm having trouble seeing the image right now, so I don't know what information it shows regarding optional equipment.

Having said that, you can simply take the VIN number to any GM dealer and get a VIS printout of the RPOs for any given VIN (parts department can usually do this). Then you'll know for sure what the original RPOs were, even if the SPID sticker is missing (just make sure that the seller supplied VIN matches the car).

oh the dealer. I don’t bother much with them anymore. But got it, not a 1LE. It’s FE4.

I'm pretty sure the 1le cars don't have any power options.

All 1LE cars without exception were all special order.....They are all hardtops... Required Manual trans...Automatic trans could not be ordered..No power accessories (power windows..seats...cruise control..ETC..) Required Base cloth interior (1SA)..1996 and later require WS6..and have yellow Koni shocks..among several other hardcore suspension upgrades...All of them before 1997 do not have Air conditioning...The only freestanding options that could be ordered were the rear window defogger and the front license plate bracket...1LE Was only available on Firebird Formula...1LE was discontinued from GM in 1999.....They are ULTRA rare with 20 or less (mostly less) produced every year (Firebird)
The SLP 1LE cars are completely different animals.....

What two-lane-blacktop says is correct. The easy give-aways that this car is NOT a 1LE (even if you couldn't see the window sticker) is the TT and A4. But a WS6 Formula is still pretty rare. I see that its a '98, what color?
