Today is the day you are back to loving it again. Hopefully for good.
That combination of black 98 formula WS6 with Taupe cloth is probably a 1 of 1 combination..taupe cloth in itself is pretty rare. Trans am world shows 5 total Ws6 formulas made with that interior. I think i've only seen a couple in pictures..the majority of cloth cars had the graphite or ebony in the later years, while it's not the most attractive color who cares, it's a WS6 formula in near perfect shape.

I agree. I believe this very car has been discussed on here before, as BFK86 mentioned earlier it looks like it's been listed for sale for quite some time. These cars (4th gens) are popular enough within the enthusiast community that any example (assuming it's been properly advertised) still for sale after 12+ months is overpriced. Something like a 1940 V16 Cadillac has such a small market that it might remain for sale for a very long time even if fairly priced, but such is not the case with an LS1 F-body.

To the OP, I wouldn't put any special collector value on this car above and beyond the fact that it's a relatively rare model (WS6 Formula). Regarding the color breakdown, even if it's 1 of 1 with that paint, interior and transmission combo, the collector value of such is reduced by the fact it's modified (i.e. the car is now 1 of 0 due to the non-stock status). Black is an extremely common color for these cars in general, so smaller cosmetic details (like the somewhat rare interior color) aren't going to support any huge boost in collector desirability for a modified 5-digit mileage example.

As mentioned above, they didn't make that many of them: http://transamworld.com/1998-breakdown.htm, and that video from Celebrity Cars was published on Aug 7, 2017 but the car is not currently on their website: https://www.celebritycars.com/. If they still have it, they might just be willing to sell it at a lower price to move it out of their inventory, It might be worth seeing how low they are willing to go down from their asking price. When I make a big purchase I usually hold out for exactly what I want, so I will have no regrets. If you have any reservations about this one, you might want to pass as from time to time they pop up for sale like the ones below.

Whoa those Formulas are so wicked looking with the Ram Air hood and sleek body without the TA stuff on the bottom.
