Newb from ALASKA saying hello
Hey all, newbie from alaska here. Names Jake, I own a '78 Firebird 332 SBC and an '80 Turbo T/A. Im moving to Texas here soon and am looking to buy a '98 to '02 WS6 when i get down there. Thought id get on here and get some good advice from other T/A owners on the ways of a late model F-Body. BTW, whats the best year Trans Am and whats the scene like in Northern Texas?

WELCOME!
I'm not sure about North Texas, but down here in Houston, is where it's at.
There are a plenty of f-bods down here. Along with our nice Speed Shops on almost very corner.

Welcome! This place is very informative and the folks are friendly
I'm partial to the Y2K model year since I own one, but I'd have to agree that the 01-02 is your best bang for the buck. LS6 intake, 5 hp more than the '00 model year, and no EGR! There seems to be several reasons to shy away from the '98 model year....check around here for all the reasons.
