i paid 3000. i work for a collision repair/restoration shop that deals with a few wholesellers. they always have fbody's, but never under 5. my boss bought a 98 camaro ss from this guy a few months back salvage title, wrecked worse than mine, for 4500. i've been looking around for a while, and for a fixable car they are around 5. futurefbodyowner . if you found ls1's for 500 you should buy them up and put them on ebay starting at 4. you might've found a FLOOD CAR which isnt worth anything but some body parts. assuming i could fix it for less than 2000, i would have 5000 in a 13 second t topped leather seated bad *** looking car??? i guess i got ripped

not finished but closer and runnin 10s
I dont care if I paid too much or not....it's done and I'm happy with it

you didnt pay too much. there is a company in the back of Hot Rod magazine that just sells wrecked fbody stuff. i called and they said for me to get everything from a ls1 car to do a swap it would be 6500, and that was for a motor with 70,000 miles. $500 fbody's might be out there, but they were underwater at one time so if you need some fenders or doors then it would be worth it to get one for parts. did you fix your car yourself????
