Why do u guys hate lt1 tail lights
I always see people recommending honeycomb lights as an appearance mod but all my friends with ls1 tas want my tail lights and i think lt1 lights look waaaaayyy better.. Just my opinion though if everyone liked the same **** it'd be boring... Just wondering why there so much hate

I'm kinda partial to the honeycomb myself, having had ample opportunity to see them on my friends '02 anytime we go driving.
That, and every LT1 pair I've seen has the grid stuff seperating from the taillight and it looks like absolute ***...I'm waiting for mine to do the same.

The same goes for the LT1 Camaro tail lights. Everyone seems to like the ambers more than the all-reds, but I personally find the ambers ugly, and you can't beat all-red's look at night .

I'm happy with my LT1 lights, eventhough theyre seperating and look like $hit..... got an extra set in the garage but they're blacked out.... so gotta sand em down and put some clear on em..... Had the black outs on for a while.... but got tired of em REAL fast....

they are talking about the designs in the LT1 lights that look like # or = seperates making them look old and worn out.
for your problem, i suggest looking for broken brackets or lose screws.

Honeycombs Myself
I have a 93 TA and had the same problem with the separating of the pieces. I like the I honeycombs more for the nostalgia. My first car was a 69 firebird, luckily also had a Chevy 350, and my best friend had a 70 that had the honeycomb wheels. I also like the back up lights with the projector style lens. Just my personal preference.

I think the honey combs look good- but I do like the LT1's better. Both of my tailights are looking very dilapidated...and I may go honeycoms just cuz they are alot cheaper to find in good shape.

The wing nuts that hold them on are either not all on or not doing their job. i.e stripped. http://transam672.tripod.com/ That first pic of my car you can see the tail light internaly seperating. I have more pics if needed.

wing nuts
that very well could be true. last time i had to change a bulb on the right i left the nut off the very most outside stud so i would not have to take the spare tire out again. that is the side the separated and the other side still looks great. even though it hangs on the wall of my garage since i went to the honey combs.
