Saw a Red maple wood metalic WS6 convert

Saw a Red maple wood metalic WS6 convet on sat. What a rare sight to see. The color looks realy hot in person. Not sure if I like it better than my SOM but it sure had me thinking .

I don't believe they made the WS6 in the Maple Red Metallic color. (MRM)
Must have been an aftermarket hood, ...

Yeah, it was aftermarket. That's what I'm planning on doing with mine though. No WS6 MRM, NBM, and no SS's in Cayenne and some other color. Here are two pics of a car that GMMG made.

Well, then it's a clone. Not a true WS6. I have a Ram Air Maple Red Metallic Trans Am.

I say it's "Ram Air", not WS6. Stretch things a little.

They produced NBM WS6 'birds. I know two different people that own one.

Maple red is awesome. It is like a color shifting metallic. Different shades in many different lighting. I wanted something different, and that is why I picked the MRM. I did here once that ONE WS6 was produced but not for sale to the general public. It was a high ranking GM execs personal car. Not sure on the truth, but I remember hearing that awhile back.
