yeah I've gotten asked if i had ram air more than once.
I also went to a parts store asking for an a/c belt and they asked me year, make, model, then if it had a/c. WOW!!
I HATE fire chicken.... its stupid Firebird is alrigt cause it is one just like a camaro is a camaro.....
the morons in the world always find us.........

I remember one time i was talking to a friend and my car was sitting there idling. Mind you it was with open headers, and the MS3 already installed. Someone actually had the nerve to come up and ask "what you got under there a 6?" When i told them it was a V8 their reaction was " no ****, really?" All you guys that aint got a WS6 or SS should be happy, they may think your car is slower than ours. But at the end of the day your kicking the crap out of them just as good as we are.

ok i got a ws6 and i was talking to a vette guy the other day. he was talking about how fast his car was so i said "i have a trans am ws6". he was like you should of bought a vette. i was like "why, how fast is your vette". he said "pretty fast, how fast is your ws6" i was like faster then your stock shivette" he was like "it aint a shivette. it has a ls1 in it, it will bet you all night long." i was like "there is 3 inches of snow on the ground, go get it. i got 100 bucks says you don't" he was like "no it is in storage" i was like "well this spring then i will save the 100 for you to try and take" he goes " i don't race it" F*cking *****. i hate old cocky vette boys

the first time i went to checkers after i bought my t/a i told the guy a 95 trans am. then i had to go through the whole pontiac, firebird, 5.7l. i was like ****! are u a man? now everytime i go there no matter who i say 95 pontiac trans am and still get is it a v8? amazing.

I get nice camaro all the time, both with my 2nd gen and my 4th gen. I used to take offense, but now I take it lightly, after all they are complimenting me on my ride.
As far as the ws-6 and ram air questions, let it roll off your back. Who cares what anybody else thinks. As long as you like and enjoy your car.

It surprises me with all the rednecks in my area that in the past 3 months that I've owned my car, no one has asked me about the "ram air" ...yet.
They just say "Wow a Tee-Ay, dat ting got a 350?!"
And god I hate it when I go to a parts store and tell them Trans Am, and the dude says "Oh, Firebird, V6 or five seven?"

Years ago i had a base model ta and my friend had a firebird with a ram air hood, i used to get the hey nice firebird, while idiots and ***** liked his fireturd cause the hood and thought it was a trans am

I have an '02 WS6 and most people don't know what the hell it is anyway much less ram air, or WS6. The people that do know a little are the ones whos second question is.....Is it a 6 speed? which it isn't. and THEN I get the oh what a drag look.
I want to let my next car to be a 98-02 NON ram air, no optioned, no nothing 6-speed car. Maybe that pewter/goldish color and no T-tops. Hell I don't even know if they made any like that!

I was getting gas the other day and the attendent looked at the back of my car and said, "What's a W5.6?". I told him it's not W5.6... it's WS6. He then asks what a WS6 is. I told him that it's a code GM used on the Trans Ams that got a corvette engine.
