I wanted a ws6, but I got my T/A that already had an after market ws6 hood from sun coast creations on it bc for the price I got it, I really couldn't beat it. The thing I hate hearing the most is or people asking is does it have a 350. Its a damn 346, get it right people. The hood is mainly for looks, it improves performance by less an 1hp if at all.

I recently sold my ram air hood and went back to the base hood until my new hood is done. Way too many WS6s running around here and I was tired of looking like everyone else.
Now the question I get asked most is "didn't that used to be a ram air?"

When I took my "non-ws6" in to the tire store to get the tires rotated, the early twenty's boy that drove it into the bay said. "that sure is a loud v-6". I then said, they don't make a v6 with 5.7 liters, like it says on my right rear bumper.

I used to go to a place by my work to get my oil change because it was fast, they always seemed to give me alot of attention, I guess I came in there cammin', my exhaust isn't exactly quite, and the motor sounds like a sewing machine

Your response to the 6 cylinder question is perfect. Anyone that asks that question is 'out of it'. I'm sure everyone here knows all the Ford and Chrysler badges so it should work in reverse. No excuse unless it is some 'ricer' asking the question. Some of them don't even know that 8-cylinder engines exist

I had the double whammy when I was in high school 6 years ago. I had an auto T/A, and another kid had an M6 WS6. Well I got no respect and was looked down upon from every kid there. Being the stupid youngster I was I ended up selling it to get an M6 WS6 only to find out now autos win races and M6's impress HS kids. And the older I get the more im leaning towards putting on a stock T/A hood. Dumb kids

Explaining cars to non car people is like playing fetch with a dog that has ADD, you keep throwing out the right answer, but they come back with a dead bird.

Some people are morons and have no automotive intelligence . I was asked actually the other day by a co-worker of mine , if my car was Ram Air. He was like dude you car sounds ******* sweet! Is it a ram air Ws.6? I said no and the dumbass proceeds to ask why i bought a 6 cylinder and cut the exhaust off. I was at a loss of words. I told him it is a Base model Trans am and the exhaust was dumped . Then i asked if he wanted to go for a little ride down the road after work.

The M6 vs. Auto isnt just with the highschool crowd. ive had a couple older gentlemen ask if my car was an M6. I say yes and their response is usually something like " good, Automatics are slow " Then i tell him i have had my doors blown off by a couple auto T/A's and Z's. They just look at me like im a dumbass.

So i guess the moral of my story is " If you own a base Trans Am or a Z28 and it is an automatic, your car is lower on the performance level than whale ****...

That is the funniest quote I've heard all day and I spent today with some really funny folks. Thanks!

Default Ram Air

I've only been asked the Ram Air question a couple of times. I can now answer yes after installing a Fast Toys Ram Air kit a couple of months ago. I bought the kit from someone here for $60 and it definately increases air flow. I did added a Texas Rumbler exhaust and I don't think I'll be asked the question again, assuming the engine is running...

My car just throws everyone off, everyone driving behind it thinks its a 6 even though its got the ws6 badge. I had a guy ask me why i put the hood and the badges on a 6 banger! I was like dude its a ws6 formula!
