Default Fog light connector (98-02 TA)

Hey all,

I ordered new connectors and pigtails due to mine being, well 20 years old and finicky with the connection.

I usually change these bulbs by sneaking arms from the top, but to give me room to wire in the new connectors, what would be easiest way to access these connectors the trap doors from the corners, or the big air damn area in the middle of the bumper?

Been a long time since I changed out the whole housing. I think I managed to access everything from underneath around the air dam in the middle. Don't recall it being totally easy though.

pop up the headlights and take the plastic bezel off, leaves quite a bit of room and you can access it all from the top, which is where that wire pigtail should start as well

Literally did this last night, got more then enough room, worst case can always disconnect linkage and bracket and move entire headlight, but much easier then going from under

Glad it worked out, much simper then blindly going in from that splash panel access.

I didnt realize how painful that was until recently, I never put my splash panels back in after I swapped bumpers.

On a Formula, there are flaps underneath the nose that you open to access the fog light bulbs. I'm guessing the Trans Am is similar.

I used my firebird ones when I swapped bumpers, I think they are the same between cars... might even be the same as a camaro as well?
