Hey guys! Question for you all..
Well, i might be picking up another T/A sooner than i thought. I was thinking of ripping out the motor and trans right away and replacing it with one of these two. Not sure what type of head/cam combo yet but what do you guys think?
Out of the two blocks, which one would you get and which heads/cam package would you run. Say you are building a motor that would stay N/A with a possibility of a little shot of nitrous.
Also, what kind of trans/stall would you run?
434 Cubic Inch LSX Short Block w/
GMPP LSX Block
Forged Pistons
Eagle Crank / Eagle Rods
Clevite Main / Rod Bearings
Durabond Cam Bearings
Machined and Assembled
408 Cubic Inch LQ9 Short Block w/
GM LQ9 Iron Block
Diamond Pistons
Compstar Crank & Rods
Clevite Main / Rod Bearings
Durabond Cam Bearings
Machined and Assembled

Hey Mike, it's Ivan.
Already making plans for the new car uh?
I think you should go with the 408 Iron block for the nitrous.
I wanna see pics of the new car when you get it.
The car is doing good. Looking to get new DR's to hit 11's before I upgrade anything (Nittos are bald). Maybe M/T or BFG's, then the entire overhaul of the car should start after I buy a house.
1-Heads
2-Nitrous (100-150 shot)
3-Transmission
4-Rear end
5-Maybe throw a few forged internals into the old LS1 or get another forged engine (347, 408?)...
Anyways, take care man.
