When did ls1 ta production begin? My build date on my door says 7/97, i was wondering when they started making mine because its the earliest ive seen and just curious

Your VIN should give you some idea of how early it is in the '98 model year right?? I forget how the VIN works, but the last 5 digits or so are the sequential number of that model year I think??
