Question from a newbie... green top
Hey, I have a 1969 Firebird convertible that came with a green top. It was champagne with a dark green interior and green top. I bought it 10 years ago when the inside was black and the top was black. I changed the interior to white and installed a white top... then I decoded it. This has to be pretty rare. Has anyone ever come across production numbers by stuff like this? How many red interior 69's were there, etc. Thanks.
A side note to add something, I recently won an ebay auction for a power window kit for a 69 Firebird from "The Parts Place". It was won for $678, and I figured the regulators would be worth it. The switches that came with it are total junk... plastic. I have a lot of very rare Pontiac parts including a complete power window set up for a 68 GTO. It has the original harness to the quarter windows and all the switches. The switches in this new kit would look ok, but they couldn't be made cheaper and the harness is different (won't fit an OEM switch).
