wheels size 82-92 firebird/trans am
i am looking to buy some new news for the bird and didnt know if you can fit a 10 1/2 size wheel in the back. let me know if you can and if you have pics that would be awesome. i know 9.5 will fit all around but i want that nice lip in the back. thanks for yals help

i have no idea what the back spacing? i want to run a pretty nice wide wire to give it that aggressive look, suspension is all stock. i was told that you can run a 17 by 11 on the back if the back spacing is right but i d k what all that is

16x8 and 15x7 are the tire sizes for 3rd Gens.
Bad, why waste a phone call when you can simply google it...
Approx 3rd Gen backspacing is 5.25" But I have been reading that it's 4.5", but this was dealing with 15", not that it should make any difference.
Either way, it's simple to check, take a rear wheel off (fronts have less back spacing) and get a semi short board (enough to rest just on the rim, not the tires) and take a tape measurer. With those 2 items, place the bottom of the tape measurer on the backside of the rim where the lugs go, and then measure up to the bottom of the board. That is your back spacing.

i know you can run 4th gen sized wheels if you use spacers. I think I've seen some 17x11 zr1's on a thirdgen before...
