Default Wiring differences between 98 and 00

I had a 2000 and just bought a 98 trans am. I was going to switch the engine harness and computer and the gas tank from my 2000 into the 98. I believe the dash harness is different also. Do any of the other harnesses in the car have to be changed with that
Thanks

97-98 LS1s are TOTALLY different than the 99+ LS1s. Flat out it won't work. Way different pin outs for the PCM and harness.

You can do a 98 to 200 swap. But the 98 is totally different. We are doing a pcm swap on a 98 Z28 right now. Give us a call and we will see if we can help. EFI alchemy
