I dont know why, but I find the Firebird Dashboards alot more appealing compared to the Camaros. What do you guys think??

The only advantage about the camaro dash is that the radio/climate bezel can be replaced with a fancy computer thingy.

Is that possible with firebird?


Oh, and a manual shifter makes it more appealing... (yes I know... not part of the dash, but it's close...)

Hell yea, except you wouldn't be able to use an in-screen style. It would be a motorized one that comes out. The Firebird's local for that is much better too since it would be up higher better for eye level to monitor the road still. Downside? Well, while it's up you'd be blocking your vents if you had the heat on And since heat and electronics go bad together, might be potential for disaster, BUT the heaters don't get that hot, and you can always close the vents.

And yes, the Firebird interior is much better.

Going off page 1, the first and second are very nice. Only thing I'd do is probably kick the screen's bottom out a bit so it's angled up a tad.

2 is much more practical with the HVAC still being there.

I like the Camaro radio layout better then the Firebird's but other then that the Firebird wins out. The dash vents are far better!!!

I like the firebird dash way better than the camaro, especially in the 93-96 cars

93-96 camaro dash.. yes i know they were trying to copy the C4 but it didnt work as well in the camaro

In 4th gen Firebirds, is there anyway to flip the climate, and radio bezel around? So then you can put an In Dash Flip Out DVD/Navi. Player without it blocking the vents, but only blocking the climate controls?

I agree, I like the Firebird>Camaro for 3rd and 4th gens.

Also I hate the Firebird steering wheel....it seems to "bulky" in the middle to me.
