I haven't seen any full color breakdowns for 2000, but for 2002 there were 867 total (Firebirds, Formulas, and TAs) in Maple Red Metallic; rarest combination being 9 Trans Am convertibles in Maple Red Metallic.

I tried using that link to find the build numbers and had no luck getting an answer. I have a 98 formula, hardtop, auto, no TC, 3:23's, green chamelon, grey cloth. Any help would be very appreciated.

I think the Firehawk automatic Convertibles in Maple Metallic Red were the 9, that your talking about. Wow, no wonder why I never see any MMR TA's around.

The automatic trans probably puts it in an even smaller group. I doubt they built too many automatic Formula WS6's.

I know this thread is a few months old...but I thought you might want to know, if you don't already. You car is pretty rare. In fact, its the rarest tranny/color combo that year.

1996 Formula WS6 Production Breakdown

Of the 2,575 total WS6's, 524 Formula WS6's were built in 1996

6 speed cars

-139 black
-105 red
-51 white
-37 green
-27 silver

A4 cars

-52 black

There ya go....1 of 13!

And, your's being a hardtop, that numbers even smaller but that exact number is not known.
