How many made? Been all through the site and can't find what I am looking for. Looking into buying 01 SOM Trans Am WS6 conv a4 and would like to know how many were made.

Rare!!!! That 516 total is accurate and there were only another 315 regular T/A's with A4 built in 2001. There really were not that many more made in 2002 either. Convertible production numbers are just extremely low and most likely due to the additional 'thousands' to get one. My sticker was $33k for a regular T/A and the WS6 had to be pushing $36k. Quite a bit of $$$ back in '01-'02. With black and pewter being the prevalent colors it seems, along with red, whites, etc... you can be assured there are probably less than 50 SOM built, and even that might be too high of an estimate. There does NOT seem to be a color breakdown available for the 2001 model year. I have no idea why and I have tried numerous times to get the info from Pontiac. Very frustrating to say the least. How they can have certain years but not 2001 is a mystery.
