Should I Swap or Start Over

I currently have two T/As sitting in my garage. My 95 hardtop is my project car (it has no motor, transmission, hood, front body panels). My 98 t-top is my daily driver.

About four years ago, I had a nasty blowout which caused me to hit a curb sideways and put a long gash in one of my rims. Since then, my t-tops have become off-set with respect to how they rest in the car; the off-set is becoming worse.

I would like opinions on wether or not I should transfer my drive train, needed body panels and components, and interior to the 95 from the 98, or if I should take my time and build the 95 up with an LSX. I have had my 98 since the drivetrain had only 23k miles on it, and know it is well taken care of.

If your roof is out of wack on a unibody it is time to retire it.

If i did do the swap, I was thinking of turning my 98 into a dune buggy. :mullet:

lol

i agree, if the ttops are that far out of whack it might be time... you could always get an estimate of how much damage there really is to see if its even worth fixing if you wanted to go that far
