Default fastest youve been with the headlights up

just kinda curious about it?? always kinda thought they would break off going to fast since they act like a air break at speed?? right??

When I had my '96 Formula I used to think the same thing. The 'up' headlights definitely affected the air flow at high speeds. It doesn't seem as bad in my '01 T/A. I never had any problems though.

Dead even from 65 all the way to 160. He and I were going back and forth with him up by a fender, and then me up by a fender. He let off with me up by a fender. Had no idea how fast I was going until I asked him and found out he got out of it at 160.

This was a 911 turbo (about a 99-00 model)

Due to me screwing up my headlight motor more than it was, mine are now ALWAYS up I haven't done over 120 yet though. 135 in my '91 L98 though.

Going about 110 my headlight cover(metal shade), the two bolts on the front fell out so the shade flew up about 3 inches. Didn't get bent or anything.

155...no problems, but...
Early in the moring when it is dark, going to dawn, and turning off my lights, my headlight does not go all the ways down unless I slam on the breaks to make my nose go down. Then it goes down!
