to answer your question--yes, it is wrong. You have a modern looking car and the decals are sooo old school---your wanting 2 different worlds and it cannot be pulled off--without looking chessy

You can't have take two things from two different worlds and put them together.
A nice car CANNOT be a fast car.
and a fast car with a v8 definitely CANNOT get good gas mileage.
and a quick car CANNOT be affordable.

Just stating my own opinion like everyone elseI was clearly talking just about looks here (the thread was about Hood Birds...remember?)--it was kinda obvious

I like the fire chicken on 3rd and 4th gens- it says to the world "I AM A FIREBIRD!!!!", not a camaro!
I'm switching over to a shaker hood and TA scoop this summer- and yes, my 'Bird will have the Fire Chicken on it.

If I were to put a Decal on my Trans Am it would be this modern desing...
And that color only....not blue, red, white, orange.....Just Yellow.
I think the Gold Yellow Emblems and Decals represent "in a way" the Trans Am.
