Default May be trading. Z28 for WS6. Opinions wanted.

Hey guys. Well like the title says i may be trading my car, in for a WS6. Anyhow here are the specs on the cars.

2001 Mystic Teal Metallic Z28 Camaro
T-Tops
A4
Black Leather
Steering mounted controls
Electronic seat
41.3k miles
Flawless condition. No CD Player.
New Tires
Warranty

2001 Red WS6 Trans Am
T-Tops
A4
Beige/Black leather
Steering mounted controls
CD
Electronic Seat
New Tires
Warranty

Pretty much just a basic breakdown of them. I have the Z28. The red WS6 with that interior is my dream car besides an SOM WS6. Thats why i want to trade. Not to mention i have a high interest rate on my car compared to what i would have with this one. Mainly because i had no credit to begin with and my mom co signed. Well i guess 9% isn't bad. So either trade or refinance my car is my situation haha.

Anyway i talked to the dealership today and they want my car on a trade in and are even willing to come down on their price of the WS6. Which is 15,000. I said i want to come out better than what i owe now. I owe 17.6k with the interest on mine. He is calling for a pay off for my car on monday. My question is if everything turns out right in my favor, should i sacrifice the 10k miles for my dream car?

It will be daily driven, like mine is, and on the brightside i can delay my first payment a couple months, haha. Also i forgot to mention my friend has looked the car up and down and has told me it is in FLAWLESS, FLAWLESS condition IN and OUT. What do ya guys think?

I prefer the look of the Trans AM to the Camaro. I love the ws6 hood. Sooo intimidating. Either way you will have a great car.

crucial information....how many miles on the T/A?

You said sacrifice the 10k miles so the T/A is at 51,300ish miles?
Remember T/A's did retail for slightly more than their z28 equivilent back in the day....its because of our snazzy seats

^Yeah the T/A has 52k. The dealership already told me they will come down on the price for whatever works best to get me better than equal. Mine books 2 grand less than the T/A does right now in everything. With 10k less miles. Haha.

given that info i say if it puts you in a better financial situation do it, but dont do it if it at ALL puts you in a worse position....its the same car with more miles after all....

The t/a does look MUCH better than the catfish tho.....never liked 98-02 camaros....

After talking to the dealership im going to stay right where i am at. On another note, yes you did read that, i had no credit to begin with when i purchased this car so the interest rate was a little high, even with a co signer. Interest + dealer fee's + no credit = large sum of money. Its ok though, i am glad i bought her! I have no regrets.
