Default VIN Question

Is a 96 TA ws6 classidied as a formula? Just checked VIN# on my car and it sais Trans Am/Fomula but RPO code on door sais Ws6. Anybody know?

The VIN doesn't decode whether or not the car is a Formula OR a Trans Am. It classifies whether the car is a base model Firebird V6, or a Formula/Trans Am model V8. You're VIN is just basically your cars name tag, it won't tell you any more than the basics. Your RPO codes are what tell you what your car is and what options it came with. If your RPO codes say WS6, then you have a WS.6 option.
