Default Please post results after weighing your G8 here.

I'm trying to get independently verified curb weights for G8's and their options.

Please post your G8's options, where you weighed it, and what the results were.

Thank you.

Yeah, i'd be happy to put your car on the scale. My car weighed 4240 lbs with a full tank of gass and i weigh 210lbs. I had just filled up the tank before i weighed it. The car was empty other than myself.

Thanks for posting.

So about 4,030lbs with full tank of gas.
Not bad at all for a 430HP sedan.

I wonder what a manual G8 GXP will weight with the addition of a TVS 2300 and a full exhaust.

The TVS 2300 is the OEM supercharger that comes on the stock 2009 Corvette ZR1. The TVS 1900 is the OEM supercharger on the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V.

My humble advice is to do headers (with or without hi-flow cats) and keep the stock cat-back.
Headers alone give a mean sound through a stock cat-back and you will see a MUCH better performance gain with headers over a cat-back.
Plus, guys are running 9's with stock cat-backs.

Mine was 3995 lbs without me in it. I don't remember how much gas was in it, but it's a GT with the performance package and no sunroof.

Mine was 4,050 with half tank gas, I'm curious to get over there with a full tank.

I'm 'fully loaded' with a moon roof, fwiw.

Usually in the 4100-4200 range with driver is the norm I'm seeing, so you're at a disadvantage there, but you also have 60hp more

Weighed it at the track the other night. 08 G8 GT, sport and premium 1/2 tank of gas and the car as I drive it on the road everyday. I weigh 165lb. and the car was 4025 lbs with me in it.
