G8 GT Magnacharger TVS2300 built by Leading Edge Performance!
Nate's 2008 G8 GT with a small cam. DOD delete. 1 7/8" Kook's and a MagnaCharger TVS2300 blower. 91 pump gas. 8psi. 6 rib.
Car is a animal. Thought you might like to view.
As always Las Vegas' crappy air.
Video is posted under the vid section.

Nice numbers.
You will obviously make even more power with 93 octane.
Please post track video & timeslips when you can.
What pulley are you currently running to see 8psi with the long tubes?
Any plans to bump the boost to 10psi?
Any plays on running meth or some Torco for added insurance?
There were reports that the 6 rib was slipping on the 2300.
How much slip are you getting with the 6 rib drive?
Any plans to go with an 8 rib?
I think the 8 rib should be an option for the 2300.
You need pulleys to begin with, so I'd personally rather buy the bigger ones the first time.
I'm glad you guys know more than the vendor who sells the 2300 and didn't listen to them when they insisted the 1900 was the only choice for the G8 GT.
Those same guys were telling the world a month ago the 2300 was too big for a stock G8 GT and they were pushing 1900's on everyone.
I guess that company's already debatable credibility is in the toilet now where it belongs.

Will the TVS 2300 fit underneath a stock G8 hood?

The boost can be bumped to 10psi with pump gas.
Customer might run one of our Meth kits. Not sure at this time.
The 8 rib will be for sure if we end up going for more boost. So far the 6 rib is working great.
I do sell the 2300 TVS if you are interested. We found you must run a BAP if you are wanting to make more than 500whp. We sell those also.
Hope that helps!

No. I'm sincere.
I might be abrasive, but I'm honest and impartial.
I think the EATON 2300 is the FIRST roots blower that is worthy of the LSx engines. Prior to that, the roots blowers for the LSx engines are inefficient heat pumps.
Frankly, I have no problem with Eaton. I just hate their vendor because of their vendor's shady history and employees. Remember, those same tools were telling people 30 days ago the 2300 was too big for a stock engine. Like I said before, ZERO credibility from that vendor.
I wish we could just buy the 2300 system directly from Eaton.
Do I think a twin screw blower has the potential to be better than the EATON 2300?
Obviously Yes. Anyone who knows FI is going to agree with me.
I think it's worth waiting for a Techco to be installed by a reputable LSx tuner (ECS, LPE, etc) so people can compare it to the 2300 before making a decision.
(I assume LEP is on par with the one's I mentioned as well, I just haven't personally dealt with them yet.)
But, if I HAD to buy a complete blower system for the G8, off the shelf TODAY, it would be a EATON 2300.
