boosting the g8

a pair of precision 6062's :D goal for now is to get it done before drag week, turn it up to the limit of the stock fuck system. then later work on the fuel system and turn it up a little more. the intercooler is done, charge pipe to the engine is done. turbos are mounted where i want them under the car. now i just have to tie it all together.

sweet jesus thats fuken badass, how much did that run ya?? what supporting mods do u have or are needed for the g8 to be tt'd?

Are you running a BAP on your current fuel system? There are people now that are running less power than what you're going to be at and already having some starvation issues.

right now just hp tuners and an lc1. mt dr's are next.

the g8 is stout, engine, tranny and rear will hold a lot of power.

no bap. since everything else is stock and i will be running low boost i think i will be ok for now. i do have a bap laying here i could hook up but dont the injectors run out at the same time as the fuel pump?

The injectors run out before the fuel pump. At least for me on my setup they did.

Can you post pics of the turbos mounted?

Thanks.

Looking good man. I was kinda hoping you would build another turbo truck lol. But still looks great

Bad Habit Bird 08-05-2009 01:55 PM

I'm looking forward to your results!

I could be wrong but from what I have seen the stock injectors are good for about 420-440rwhp in a boosted application, the stock pump is good to 550 or so to the wheels.
