Default Another VIM Option + Extra Features - Gauging Interest???

Just starting a thread here to gauge interest on a potential new VIM product offering...RAVE (Rear Aux Video Enabling). We are still finalizing some details and determining whether to distribute thru vendors on here already or become a new supporting vendor directly. Pricing will be VERY competitive and basically a chimp would be able to perfrom this upgrade.

Product Details:
2 minute Plug & Play RAVE flasher to enable your rear aux video input while at speeds of greater than 5mph. Hardware can remain installed if you would like automatic switching for back-up camera (which we may offer back-up camera as well). If you don't want back-up camera hardware will not need to remain plugged in.

Additional features (still determining if this will be available on first product release) will be to include allow user the capability of viewing all diagnostic information on your factory center cluster display. Think of it as having access to all the same info that a Dashhawk can display but on your factroy cluster....sort of a Super-Engineering Mode that can be toggled with the steering wheel controls. Again this would be plug'n'play and unless you wanted the back-up camera switching, no hardware to leave installed! If this feature is not available at first product release we will only charge the cost difference to any purchasers of the RAVE only unit (return hardware for new software revision).

Rear Aux A/V plug & Play cables with optional plug & Play back-up camera switching relay will also be available .... these are going to be offered at very little above cost. These are to support the RAVE product and create the most clean, cost effective, convenient, simplest install possible for this type of upgrade.

First hardware run will be in about 4-6 weeks overseas...depends on whether any product will be air freighted or if will be coming by sea freight

Likely will be $199 for "RAVE" flash unit only, $299 if you want the "Super-Engineriing Mode" features as well.

As others mentioned, it sounds interesting, but let's not turn this tech forum into an infomercial. If you wind up having a product to sell please consider sponsoring this forum. There are lots of potential customers here.
