I lost time (.04 seconds) through the 1/4 mile putting in the 3:27 over the 2.92's. I was passing through the traps in third gear with the 2.92. I'm part way thru 4th with the 3.27's but I don't think the extra getup makes up for the lost time of the extra shift. Bottom line is I like the 3.27's on the street, definitely more get up and go but if it's 1/4 times your interested in definitely go big (3.45's).

Do you mean lost .004? What was the time you ran with both rear ends? I just order a rear diff, thinking about returning it now.

Nope I went from 12.27 best with the 2.90s and 12.31 best with the 3.27s; lost 0.04 seconds due to the extra shift. It is peppier on the street but like I said, if the 1/4 time is all you care about get the 3.45s. It all depends how much power you are putting down and what RPM you are at when you pass thru the traps. You really want to have gearing that allows you to get over 6000 RPM when going over that finish line so you are taking advantage of most of that last gear.
