My name is Gorge, I'm from Tucson, AZ just bought a 2008 G8 GT. I got to say, after driving a 95 Trans Am for two years and a 07 Cobalt SS for a year, this car is by far the sickest of them. I am a SBC guy but never really worked with LS based engines, performance wise what should be the first step with the 6.0? same as always? headers, intake, exhaust, tune?

Also, are there any problems to be aware of with these cars?

will upload pics later

Welcome, consider signing up on g8board.com and grrrr8.net. they are more g8 focused but this site is by far the best ls based "tech" site

First common mods are cai, headers, and mid pipes. Next big step is deleting the DoD

Get rid of the cylinder deactivation and tune it for premium fuel.
