Circle D Transmissions in Houston, TX. They really know how to make that box work extremely well.

I'd have to say circle D, they are not cheap by any means - but it will hold.

Yeah, I looked up their prices for the 6l80e and was like

However, I have seen many of their products on high performing cars, so I guess the results speak for themselves

Circle D for sure. We have isntalled a few of their transmissions and high stall converters and I'm very impressed.

Are you planning on going with big power in the future?

How much can these 6l80e's be built to hold? I have read that 6l80es tend to start sliping and they become really tough to tune at high HP builds. Last I heard only shift kits were available for these 6l80es. I am curious to know because like I said they tend to get real tough to tune.

Its not worth investing money on a 6l80e in my opinion. 4l80e is the better way to go.

How much power are you making? I'm right at 600rwhp, proper tune and a tranny cooler with 60000 miles and I'm still doing great.

Nice! Ive seen a couple of vehicles pushing that amount of RWHP and still holding, I heard they are tough to tune though.

That is a lot of power through the stock 6l80e. Who tuned it?

He does a great job! The highest RWHP that my tuner, Eber Saenz, has tuned a 6l80e has been at 510-530 I believe, ill have to double check.

With a transmission cooler, proper fluid changes, and a proper tune, these trannys will last. I've got about 80-100 1/4 mile passes on mine as well.

I need to dyno mine to confirm, but I should be right at 600rwhp

540 rwhp, untouched 6l80, Livernois tuned it two years ago, no issues.
