From what we see and have heard from the SS/Caprice PPV community they are equipped with a oil cooler that will not allow the installation of G8 headers:

are you going to at least test fit the SS headers on a G8 and see if they will work as is, or if not, a slight modification that does not hinder SS installation may open your headers up to the G8, SS, and PPV croud all in one shot.

I wish it was that easy.... cant find a local PPV to get here to look at. There are a few G8's, but haven't got a commitment yet.

Nice, wish i still had my g8, twenty minutes away. Im looking at a GXP soon, if it goes thru, ill drop you a line. There are still a strong demand for headers/ exhaust systems on the g8. I could see the SS and G8 being near identical, the PPV catback will of course be longer.

Hey guys..... just wanted to keep yo all in the loop. We are on muffler design #8 as of this morning.

We are really trying to nail the sound of this system since the demographic is very specific and the use of the vehicle will not be as aggressive as compared to say a Corvette, Camaro or Mustang, etc.

I will be posting new info as it develops.

LOL......I wouldn't Steve. We have security cameras on the scrap pile and have sent guys to jail for coming by "for a after-hours look".

It's my understanding that the prototypes are the same body modified with different interior designs...

Well guys I am VERY excited to say that the revised Cat Back system sounds amazing inside and outside the car!!!!

It sounds great from start up through all 6 gears under normal throttle.... even in 6th going up a grade with a load on the car. From a rolling start or dead stop under lets say "hard throttle" it just sings! At highway cruising speed.... beautiful.

This system will also allow you to have a conversation with the rear passengers or the kids can easily watch their DVD's or play games in the back!

If the Ohio weather allows we will be filming the video tomorrow................

Then its "Header Time"
