Because of AFM the cam shaft is smaller then what you would find in a LS2.

Stock G8 L76 cam: 200/208 .472/.479 116 LSA

Stock GTO LS2 cam: 204/211 .525/.525 116 LSA

An intake and tune will bring it to 400hp and you can disable AFM too.

Great mph for the lack of $ mods. I have run similar, but with the mods in my sig.

I would love to hear your exhaust.... any video clips?

I like how the stock mufflers sound when I step on it but around town it’s too quiet.

Yeah stupid DoD! I would get rid of it... the 2009 also has a few less hp because they installed an extra set of cats that werent on the 08's.

Just for comparison to your specs above here are the LS9 cam specs:

211/230 .558/.552 122.5

Its only a $100 cam from GM, replace the lifters with LS7 units, pushrods, valley cover. You have a cheap DoD delete kit that might only cost you $500 and have a nice 40+hp gain.

The ECM pulls timing if you run regular gas, so you're losing some power. I tuned mine to run on premium and I can feel the difference.

I took out my 235/242 .618 114 and everyone knew within a half mile that the car was cammed... it was fun but after two years with that setup I wanted something a bit different.

Now I have the OEM LS9 cam, car idles like stock, and is faster! Granted I added a blower... haha

Stock exhaust and untouched heads I am guessing? That's a big cam.

[QUOTE=VINCE;19349138]Stock exhaust and untouched heads I am guessing? That's a big cam.[/QUOTE

It is a big cam, but I have magna flow exhaust and the heads were redone also before this was done . The only thing I have left to do is put on some long tube headers but havent decided which ones I want to put on. Do you have any suggestions on which ones are better?
