Default Put my new 19" Ruff Racing Wheels and Kuhmo spt tires

Here are some pics of my g8 gt (092) and the new 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. I'm still waiting on the rear tires, but, mounted these to show you the wheels.
Check it out.

The tires are 245-40-19 in front and the ones I'm waiting on are 255-40-19's, just a little larger for the rear with the 9.5 wheels. I originally tried the 285-35's, but, they stuck out to much and I like the tucked look and I plan to lower it with the eibach pro kit once they are released.

^^I agree. I'm not feeling those rims. Charcoal would look awesome on that red. Congrats on an awesome car though!

Those look tiny on that car. I like the stockers better, unfortunately.

Cause the fricken car sets to high. Typical gm cars, raise the damn thing up so we can lower it. Thats pretty much the stock height tire, if I could have gotten a tune for it, I might have put 20's, but, the tire height I would have wanted would have thrown the computer way off. They bigger the wheel the heavier and that means less performance, I did that with my 300 and killed it with the 22's. They look good, however, you gotta take the good with the bad. These cars already get bad enough fuel mileage as it is. The rear tire I have coming will have a little more height and that will fill out the wheel well a little more. Then the drop will take care of the rest.

Its the wheel design that is making it look too small and the fact in the pic the tires blend in with the back of the wheel well. The tires are the exact same size as stock 245-40-19. Its just that star design makes them look small. I wouldnt go any bigger than 19 at all, as he said the bigger the wheel the more horsepower is lost. If you wanted to get better performance you could even switch to a 17 but I think 19 is good. I would definetly lower it.

Did you try 285 on all four? I wondered what kind of size you could run, I would prefer a 275-40 in the back and 245-45 in the front.

Why on earth would you want a wider front tire on a RWD car?

Wheels look to small. I like the factory 19's. Should have went with 20's. Who cares about the wheel gap. It can always be lowered later. But at least you have a nice G8.

Wow I did not read my post when I made it. Yeah 275-40 in the back 245-45 or so for the front. Good combo. Wonder if it will fit.

245-45 on the front, definetly to big, 275 on the rear would have been ok. They do look smaller then I anticipated. I own them for a while, til I find something different that I like. I appreciate everyones input, some liked them and some don't. Thats why good ole america is the place to live.
