I've gotten 1.7sec 60s with mine and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get some 1.6s this spring.
The G8 is a totally different car with a higher stall converter.

How is it as far as daily driving? Do you have to give it a lot of gas to get the car moving? Would you consider it to be a good daily driver setup? My main concern would be how loose it is for daily driving.

I'm fine with it for a daily driver and this is the first time I've replaced a converter in a street car.

Matt from Tune Time has done low 1.6s with a 3200 (and a maggie and meth and a cam) and some Commodores from Oz have done low 1.6s with cam, bolt-ons and 3600 converters.
I've been in the 1.7s (on 18" ET Street Radials) and will try like hell to get a 1.6 before the end of the Spring. I'll be using 26" ET Streets (17"rim).
