Default Torque Converter goes in!

And I must say, what a nice piece! Billet case, Billet piston, this converter is the bizz nizz!

Went a little more radical than everything else that is out there for the G8. Its a 3600 stall. What can I say, I like to go fast. I'll get back to you guys with my review of it shortly. I might even head to the track tonight... Should see some really good gains if I can hook up. DR's will be needed I'm sure, and they are on the way.

BTW, we will be offering these converters at a special introductory price! Stay tuned for details!

ok, well for any of you G8 owners out there, let me tell you that i have been around the LSX community since the begining and have been around and driven MANY MANY converter cars. I will tell you that this 09 G8 GT with the FTI converter is truely the best street/strip DD cruiser i have ever driven. the car hauls *** with this converter and yet maintains all of its OEM driveability quality. FTI and Rich @ PM-FL got this combo right on. I cant wait to see this combo at the track, because i know it will see a really nice improvement. the real beauty of this combo is how well it wakes up the stock OEM potential of this L76 and 6L80e on the street.

Does the car have any other mods?

lol@ track results - wish we could but our tracks are closed b/c of the US Nationals. I will make sure Rich gets some good results with this G8.

As Gator said, we have the US Nats this week. I will get track results as soon as we have an open T&T day, which will be next weekend.

The only other mods to the car are Pedders X-member & Differential bush's, and a tranny cooler. The stock tune was tweaked only slightly to allow for proper opperation of the torque converter. I am keeping the mods to a minimum, to show just how well this converter will perform.

In that picture the lift does look a bit cocked, but I assure you, it is straight.

Thanks!

I have a 3200 in my G8, different brand , but I agree it makes a huge difference in the car.

The US Nats were last weekend so no T&T last week, next open T&T is this Thurs.
