Default Am I missing something here?

I finally got to test drive my new to me 04.
I've never been in one before and there seems to be no lighter!
Is this a Bricklin, ashtray and no lighter?
Am I supposed to run my radar or GPS from the 12v outlet in the rear of the center console glovebox?

Yep. I have a cordless detector and the cable for my GPS is long enough.

If you can find one, you can add a smoker's package and replace the cubby under the stereo with a lighter and ash tray. I don't know if they are still available from GM, but they pop for sale from time to time.

They are, (just ordered it an hour ago)
Someone said it replaces the coin holder, you say under the radio.
I sure hope it IS under the radio, that makes infinintely more sense!

It's definitely under the radio. You have to take out the whole console and middle dash trim to install it.

I traded my smokers package for a cubby tray, im sure you can find someone else that would do the trade.
