Default POLL: Which filter on a stick to get...for an LS2?

Well I just found out that my g/f is gonna get me a filter for my b-day. Isn't she nice!

Now, which should I go with? There's Lingenfelter (sp?), AEM, K&N, Volant, and Gravana. Any others? There all about the same price, so I dunno which is better. BTW, this is for an LS2. And if anyone has one or knows of one used, hit me up!

TIA!

Jake

I recommend leaving your intake stock, but if your gonna do the filter I'd recommend an AEM dryflow, in the stock airbox.

I have the LPE fit is better than others I have seen. Also works with stock tube so if you plan on future mods (maggie) then it still works.

The LPE is great, sounds nice too. I'm sure I definetly gained close to their claimed 15HP.

look over in the "for sale" section on ls2gto.com. there are people that got the vararam and are selling their old intake.

Get the vararam. It is more of a "cold" air intake than any of the other kits for the Goat.

Get the vararam! Its the one to have and it just recently came out for the gto. People are getting big results over other cai's with it. Maryland speed is the only one who sells it for now.

Really, cause I got mine from Wretched Motorsports, and we got our pre-orders in before Maryland Speed got any of them...

From all that the op listed...yes. The Vararam though is in a different league than those hot air intakes.
