04 gto engine setup
hey guys i am running a 04 gto and 4l60e in my soon to be done 56 chevy truck. before i put it all together i was hoping for some insight from you gto guys on engine performance. i have this setup planned out and i want any input from you including changes i should make. thanks
AFR 205cc LS1/LS6 Cylinder Heads with 66cc Combustion
Chamber, Valve Springs Rated to .600 Lift
or tfs 220cc heads

The TFS heads are a little thicker and require different length pushrods, 7.50 I think, but better look into that some more. Not sure if the AFR heads are similar or not since they also have a thicker deck. I would get better valve springs with that cam for insurance purposes. I like the Trick Flow CNC 215 better than the 220 as cast heads. The Texas Speed PRC 215 heads are good too. You gonna run custom headers?
