Finally got my GOAT dynoed
I was able to get my gto dynoed and tuned today. The numbers werent as high as i hoped but it looks like i have something to work towards now. My best pull was 334.99 HP and 350.52 TQ. My hopes were 350 across the board but o well. Now its time to dive inside the engine i guess.
Im going to try and get the dyno sheet on my computer. I have the printed copy but i dont have a scanner so im going to take a pic of of it. Will see how that turns out.

I really would like to do a cam swap. I cant afford heads right now but a cam i could do. Ive looked at a lot of different cams and i just cant choose which one i want. Ive looked mostly at the TSP 228R but lately ive been considering a little smaller cam like the 224R. I dont know.

I went with a big cam set up. It's not my daily driver so it's nice to be able to drive my GTO on nice days. However, if I had it to do over again, I'd go FI. The initial cost seems high, but either way you're going to be spending some cash!
BTW, I was in your neck of the woods (or should I say beach) last week. I go to Destin a couple times a year. I take 87 from I-10 and then just cruise 98 into Destin.

Ive been trying to convince my wife to let me get a supercharger but she freaks out about the 6 grand it would take. I have a hard enough time getting the little ****.

I had it tuned by Restoration Rods. He has a dyno jet and hes a CMR dealer for Diablosport. He did a good job tuning it. It took an hour was all. I think i got like 7 pulls in if i remember right. As for Firebird not yet. Im planning on going in May for grudge night. Im hoping for 12's. Will see. Im getting my clutch done real soon it started slipping right after i left the dyno so i may have a little power left.
