Default Can these rims be run on an '04 GTO?

My fiancee really likes the black C5 Z06 rims and they're a pretty good deal, just wanted to make sure they will fit the car before I buy them for her, thanks for any help guys! I didn't know if the bolt pattern was the same and if the backspacing and stuff would be right.

The bolt pattern is the same essentially, but I believe the rim won't fit because of the backspacing. I think the biggest you can go on a GTO is like a 17x8. Again, i'm not positive so someone clarify

17x8, **** no. It's all about the offset. I'm running 18x9 with a 275 tire.

As for the question, the offset is not enough without major rubbing.

there is a good chance they will fit if you have springs in the back, with that back space it would be a crap shoot on the tire you pick...most would probably rub but there are some that will fit...i had 305's on mine and it was fine but i have a different setup than most...
