Default GTO at auto show

Just went to the L A Auto show. When I got to the Pontiacs there was the GTO just like I saw it last year. Just sittin there with not one person looking at it, and there were thousands of people there. What they were looking at, and so was I, was the new Bonneville that has the Northstar V8 in it! Now that car looked good. Pontiac finally got it right, but I still wish they made the F bodies.

Bonnie's with the Northstar are $39,000. Yikes. Almost $40K for a Pontiac? Hate to say if but this will not be an easy sale without rebates and 0%. I love the car but now your in Acura, Lexus, Lincoln, BMW, Mercedes and Infiniti territory. The stakes are a little higher. Hope they can sell 'em all.

CPV33 Well, your right. But remember you get what you pay for. I mean a 300hp 4 cam V8, Active handeling (spelling?) leather and all that. There not going to give it away, it's worth it. It's like saying YIKES $50,000 for a chevy. But the Corvette is worth it. Don't get me wrong. I agree with you. For that kind of money there are other cars to look at.

I think the Bonnie has 275 HP and I didn't know about the active handling. If its like the Vette's than that's great! Everyone who's seen it in person says it's incredible, including the interior materials. GM is moving to upgrade all their cars. Of all the domestic makes they seem to be headed in the right direction. Wall Street agrees, stock is up from $38 to $54!
