New Gto Owner need help I just bought an 04 GTO but i noticed that one of my tail lights is brighter than the other, i already replaced all the bulbs but the problem persists. Any sugestions this is driving me crazy is the only problem the car has. |
check the ground on the dimmer light |
I dont understand wich dimmer light and where is it located? I checked a ground cable thats in the truck behind the light and it seems fine. |
Go back to the basics: Make sure both sides have the same # lamp, check that the DC voltage is the same or equal on both sides, and remove ground and clean metal, put ground wire back on. One of these will correct the problem... |
Ok ill try that today when i leave work.. thanks |
Ok so the ground cable is fine and solid, could a blown fuse be the problem? |
no if u blew a fuse then they wouldnt work period if u did what ls2 6spd then also try to get an ohm meter and see how much power is getting to each of the lights |
I know someone who might have one of those ohm meters, lets say one has more power than the other how would i go about fixin this issue? wat should be replaced or fix |
