Check your maf sensor, it will cause the traction control to turn off.

Ok funny you say that because I just recently took the stock airbox out and put a cone filter on the oem intake tube. I took the maf off and cleaned with maf cleaner but no luck. So I disconnected the battery for a few to let the computer reset and see if that does anything. I also went ahead and put the factory air box back on.

Do you run customer tunes? I have a tuner and I did a little tweaking in it... came to found I did something wrong because I had the same issue, I reinstalled the tune and problem GONE

The car is bone stock minus the cone filter I had put on and hid headlights.

Well I reconnected the battery and no luck, and I have noticed that you dont even have to put the car in gear. You can just give it a little gas in neutral and the traction off indicator on the dash comes as soon as you do it. Hummm, maybe the maf is bad.Because it seems like soon as it picks up airflow in happens.

Take it to autozone or some where they scan it for free, it will tell you what your problem is. good luck.

It's a MAF sensor issue and/or a vacuum leak after the MAF.

my traction control was kinda acting up in a similar manner. when i got on it while driving or revved the car up it would cut it off. i took it to a mechanic shop they said alternator was bad, replaced it havent had a problem with TC since but now having other problems with car shutting off and idling problems. took it to another mechanic said my PCM is bad, another mechanic says i have a vacuum leak FML!!!!
