Dealer lies... Ok, so I found this "Limited Edition" GTO on ebay. I was under the assumption that a GTO is a GTO is a GTO...

I know that the dealer can say something like this to jack up the price or not know what they have, so it can go either way but isn't calling it a limited edition false advertising?

It doesn't look that bad for a '04 and the mileage is low. That's also a good price for a dealer. It does look like the seats were dyed or something as the embroidered "GTO" and stitching is red instead of black like it came originally.

Looks pretty nice to me with that kind of mileage thats not a bad deal at all. The wheels look nice on it too imo. Only downfalls i see is it looks like the spare isn't included the way the carpet is dipping in the trunk and the exhaust looks to be in rough shape.

Maybe your computers have a better picture than I see on my notebook. The rocker looks like it could be light glare or wax haze. They also Armor All-ed the crap out of the interior. You'd probably slip out the other side trying to get in. All GTOs technically were limited edition in that they were limited to a very small number that were allowed be imported by UAW/GM agreement. I also have noticed that lately the price fall has stopped and in fact has started to come back up as people finally realize what the car is. It is $1,000 higher than BlueBook but that's for a 99,000 mile car.
