Default Mufflers!

So I finally got my headers on with the catless mids and to be honest the SLP LM1 sounds like pure ****. So I know that tone is subjective but anyone got some mufflers that just sound awesome? I'm thinking about Spintech Prostreets any opinions on those?

I have Pacesetter Long Tube Headers Catless mids Xpipe and SLP lm1 right now

I am debating over flowmaster 40's or magnaflow welded in the 04 position. The 04's sound better than the 05/06's

The '04 have an engineered exhaust vs the LS2 thrown on one. Beside the mid position the left and right mufflers are even different on the inside and have different notes.

Just depends what kind of sound you like.

I personally hate the Xpipe raspy corsa type ****. Others love it.

I'm running 10 series flows. Those are one chamber. 3 inch center in offset out. I've got pacesetters, no cats and all 3 inch custom pipe with x pipe. Flows are installed exactly where the factory resonators were and turndowns off the outlets.

I had spintechs with L/T and a catted X and the car was way too loud for me. I replaced the spintechs with flow 40s and I loved the sounds. It quieted it down and gave it a deeper tone. But because of a ticket I had to take my L/T off so now I have stock catted, X pipe and flows but I still like the sound.

They gave you a ticket for that??? That's an almost identical set up to mine (H-pipe), and I've never been hassled. It's loud at WOT, but I personally don't think this set up is very loud. Not compared to other exhaust set ups at least... A buddy with an '04 has managed to drive that past 6+ months with longtubes, catless mids, Y-pipe with no muffler. Needless to say, his is beyond loud when accelerating and he hasn't had any issues. Weird.
