Default GTO dash/ console

I am considering putting a 04-06 GTO interior in my 69 GTO. I have am running an 07 LY6 and 6L90 trans with a harness that has been converted to stand alone. What does the new GTO dash use to communicate to the engine? What do you think would be necessary to make this work? I know there will be some cutting that needs to be done but I am looking about info on the electronics portion mainly.

That is the outcome im hoping to have in the end. Anyone else have any ideas or sources. I guess Im using a 05-06 because of the CANbus, but how do I make the engine communicate with the CANbus. I am going to be using a stand alone harness. I obviously using a unoriginal engine/trans (LY6/6L90) but can and how do I make it communicate with the dash cluster?

why not use everything u can from a wrecked gto?? wouldnt that make it so much easier?? im talking full body harness, engine harness, head/tail light harness... it would make it "plug and play" for the most part. thats what i did when i installed a 4th gen interior in my 3rd gen trans am.. only thing i had to splice in was the headlights and tail lights to the newer harness
